The Greenlee GT-12A Non-Contact Voltage Detector is a compact, hand-held tool for non-contact voltage testing. The Greenlee GT-12A Non-Contact Voltage Detector can be used to detect voltage in outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, wires, and cables. This safe tool also tests if there is a break in the wire as well. Bright LEDs flash and the audible alarm sounds if voltage is present. There is also a silent mode, for usage in quieter settings. The Greenlee GT-12A Non-Contact Voltage Detector features an automatic self-testing verification of the integrity of the unit. This function is a Greenlee patented technology that runs a test every two seconds. This one of a kind product automatically turns off after five minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low battery indicator. This tool runs on 1.5V AAA (2) batteries which are included. The single button operation allows for fast and easy usage.
