APCO is the award-winning air cleaning technology that combines the power of UV-C light with activated carbon and photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). APCO eliminates odors, toxic VOCs, and microbial contaminants from the air and air system. APCO MAG models feature a remote mounted power supply and a powerful magnet for mounting onto metal surfaces. The Fresh-Aire UV APCO Mag (magnetic mounting) system works with your central air system to reduce odors, toxic chemical vapours, germs and mold in your home. APCO Mag uses the same technology as the standard APCO unit but uses a magnet mounting plate and a remote mounted power supply. Fresh-Aire UV APCO is the ultimate enhancement to indoor air quality. The combination of UVC light and activated carbon cells inside APCO make it uniquely effective at removing both biological contaminants (mold, bacteria, viruses, allergens) and volatile organic compounds (the source of nearly all odors). APCO MAG is ideal for installation inside the geothermal system where it can disinfect interior surfaces (including cooling coils) as well as the air stream. Install APCO ER/SI/DI externally through the duct (supply side preferred, return side if necessary). APCO DI includes a second UVC lamp which can be mounted at the coils.
